This place is not located in Hollywood.  Actually, it is a nice 30-minute car ride away from Hollywood, into Pasadena.  Believe me, though, this place is worth the trip if you love Peach Cobbler or Apple Cobbler.
I discovered this place about 3 years ago.  I had gone a couple of times before I actually met both owners (the husband and the wife).    He told me that he was from Mississippi,  and I wasn't surprised, since his Peach Cobbler tasted very much like the kind my grandmother used to make- especially the crust (a lot of places don't know how to make good crust- this place does!)  This place also sells Gumbo and Tea Cakes!  (I had never heard of any place making Tea Cakes before- I had never had them before visiting my great-grandmother in Gloster, Mississippi years ago).  The Tea Cakes at The Gourmet Cobbler Factory tasted similar to the ones I remember.  They even have Tea Cakes in several flavors. 
Getting back to the Cobblers, though, they are the absolute best of any that I've run across being sold anywhere.  I love the Apple and the Peach.  I haven't tried the Blackberry Cobbler yet.  
It's been a while since I've been, so it's about time for me to make a "Cobbler Run" to Pasadena.  The quality of the Cobblers makes The Gourmet Cobbler Factory the first recipient of Hollywood Eat's "Golden Roadtrip" designation.    Please note:  They are closed on Mondays.
