Located directly across the street from Paramount Pictures Studios on Melrose, at Plymouth Ave.
Lucy's El Adobe Cafe has a fantastic history in Hollywood. It is named after the original owner's wife, Lucy, who apparently still owns the place. Lucy's was frequently the hangout of members of several rock and folk bands, as well as some film and television celebrities.
That being said, it appears to me that the only things that most people really seem to like about this place is the atmosphere and the margaritas. This place LOOKS really nice from the outside. Most people, from what I've seen across the web, don't like the food here. I've driven past this place hundreds of times, but I've never eaten there. I hope that the food improves, and they have a big promotion to celebrate it (with so many talented chefs in town, one might think that they could really jazz this place up and become one of the most popular eateries in Hollywood again).
Alas, I could not find a website for Lucy's El Adobe Cafe.
