Off Vine, 6263 Leland Way, Hollywood, CA 90028

Located on Leland Way at Vine Street (near De Longpre Ave)

UPDATE 4/28/08: I was saddened to read today that Off Vine was destroyed in a fire yesterday afternoon. It was reported that the fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring. This was one of my favorite restaurants in Hollywood. I hope that it is rebuilt and opens back up and continues as strongly as it was before, if not ever better!

The following review describes how IT WAS for me, and why I will go back once it is open again:

Off Vine is a nice, romantic place for a nice, home-cooked meal in a warm and cozy atmosphere. They place very nice and classy music from the forties, while you dine on very yummy food. It's a nice place to take your Mom for her birthday, or to visit for a special date. All of the food is good. Their specialties seem to be the souffles for dessert, which you must order when you order your main course, because it takes time to prepare. Off Vine serves lunch and dinner.
